A fatal accident occurred on Wednesday at approximately 12:30 p.m. in Pec pod Sněžkou, a town located near the border with Poland. On the way to the cable car on the Czech side of Śnieżka, a stroller containing an infant slipped.
The baby fell out of the stroller. Rescuers and a rescue helicopter were dispatched to the scene. Witnesses tried to save the baby. Unfortunately, without success.
