The President of Bolesławiec, speaking during a session of the County Council, mentioned the difficulties local authorities had faced recently. One of them was the lack of electricity in the Kościuszki housing estate:
I try to refrain from making very harsh statements. At night, we delivered hot meals to the children.
He added: – The next day – thanks to the county head’s very strong intervention – a generator was nevertheless found, and finally people had light and electricity.
But as it turned out, the problem was only partially resolved. – The procedures provide that the generator operates from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. At 10 p.m., Tauron takes the generator away, and until morning the housing estate remained without electricity – the president concluded.
