The event will take the form of a team-based sporting competition. Participants—amateur four-person teams made up of adult competitors—will assemble 1,500-piece jigsaw puzzles. In addition to championship titles and trophies, the winners will receive prizes in kind.
The aim of the competition, which will take place on February 26, 2011, at 5:00 p.m. in the GOKiS hall in Kruszyn (1B Kasztanowa Street), is to promote puzzle-solving as an attractive way to spend free time and to develop skills such as patience, perceptiveness and teamwork. Teams representing institutions, companies and private individuals may enter.
