Ceramic body painting is the traditional painting of male and female models’ bodies during the Bolesławiec Ceramic Festival. This year, the models were painted by: Dariusz Godawa “Night Butterfly”, Paulina Stefańczyk “My Heart Beats Blue” from Lady Blue pottery, and Jadwiga Raczko, a graduate of SzkolArt Wrocław – a makeup and wig-making school.
Original Bolesławiec pottery by Lady Blue is a young company that is already achieving numerous successes on the ceramic handicraft scene. Dariusz Godawa, an artist working for Lady Blue, presented his “Erased from the Landscape” works at the Lusatian Museum in Zgorzelec. He presented them together with the LADY BLUE pottery collection, allowing objects from the past to connect with what has only just been created.
A limited edition of mugs designed and produced by Lady Blue pottery – Paulina Stefańczyk on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the film “Forrest Gump” – was given to the filmmakers who created the documentary “The Spirit of Beaufort: Remembering Forrest Gump”. The director of the latter is Daniel Stanisławski, a filmmaker from Lower Silesia.
