Services received the report at 12:28 p.m. Firefighters from Bolesławiec and Parowa, emergency medical teams and the police took part in the rescue operation.
A Polish Medical Air Rescue helicopter landed at the scene and took the injured man to hospital.

On August 9, 2024, at 12:28 p.m., the Bolesławiec emergency command and dispatch center received a report of an unconscious person trapped under the bucket of a wheel loader in Parowa. When the fire service units arrived, they found a man pinned by the loader arm.
The injured person was not breathing. Stabilization of the vehicle was started immediately, and specialized hydraulic tools were used to gain access to the injured person, who was evacuated to a safe location. Qualified first aid related to cardiopulmonary resuscitation was then provided.
After the emergency medical team arrived, firefighters continued resuscitation efforts together with the paramedics. After approximately half an hour of fighting for the man's life and the return of cardiac activity, a Polish Medical Air Rescue team arrived at the scene and took the person to hospital.
