The incident occurred after 5:30 p.m. at kilometre 52 of the A18 motorway in the direction of Wrocław. A heavy goods vehicle hit the energy-absorbing barriers. Fortunately, no one was injured. As a result of the incident, the inner lanes of the carriageway were closed, and traffic is moving in both directions along the outer lanes.
The following took part in the rescue operation: JRG Bolesławiec, WSP Świętoszów, the Volunteer Fire Service in Ławszowa, the Bolesławiec District Police Headquarters and the road administrator.
