The summary of the fifth edition of the “Employer Friendly to Young People” competition took place on 14 December at the Training and Education Centre of the Voluntary Labour Corps in Ząbkowice Śląskie. When evaluating employers, the competition committee took into account compliance with labour law, compliance with occupational safety and hygiene regulations and principles, activities aimed at protecting workers, as well as promoting knowledge about occupational protection.
The competition was won by Stanisław Kibało from Wrocław (bakery). Bolesławiec resident Rafał Tomczyk (roofing and sheet-metal construction. Plastering and bricklaying. Painting) came second. Third place went to Wanda Woźniak from Jawor (a non-public preschool).
“Mr Rafał Tomczyk fully deserves this award,” says Małgorzata Wąsik, an instructor at the Labour Corps in Bolesławiec. “Our students are practically burning to undertake their work placements with Mr Rafał.”
