On Saturday night (June 22, 2024), a house fire broke out in which my work colleague lived with her parents.

The fire quickly spread to the roof and the residential and farm buildings, causing extensive damage. The cause of the fire is not yet known.
Fortunately, no member of Ania’s family suffered physical injuries in the incident. Unfortunately, all the farm animals died in the fire.
What was not consumed by the fire was destroyed by the water used during the firefighting operation. The extent of the tragedy is shown in the attached photos. In an instant, the family lost everything they owned.
She adds:
Ania and her parents have been deprived not only of a roof over their heads and all their possessions, but also of their sense of security. The fact that this is the second fire to affect them intensifies the tragedy they are experiencing. After the fire in 2021, Ania and her parents only rebuilt their family home last year, with enormous support from kind-hearted people. As recently as Friday, she was telling me how happy she was that she had finally completed all the renovation work.
Yet thoughts of the fire three years ago continued to occupy her mind, and court proceedings are still ongoing regarding the extremely low amount of compensation paid.
Ania is a wonderful and extraordinary person, always willing to help others. Now she needs help.
Her current financial situation and the trauma connected with the earlier fire are enormous obstacles to recovering from this dramatic event and rebuilding the house.
With the support received, Ania could at least partly rebuild a place where she and her parents could live as soon as possible.
Time is also extremely important, because Ania has already been informed that, to save the small residential part of the house, the completely burned roof must be rebuilt as soon as possible.
