Statement text

Dear Members, Players and Supporters of the Club.

The BTS Bolesławiec board regrets to inform you that in the 2024/2025 season, the senior BTS Elektros Bolesławiec team will not enter the PZPS Second League competition.

Starting in the Second League involves a huge sporting, organizational and financial step up, for which adequate funds must be secured.

Despite our strenuous efforts and actions taken, at present we are not and will not be able to guarantee sufficient financial resources that would allow our team to participate and operate at an appropriate level, ensuring its continued presence in the central-level competition.

It was extremely difficult for us to make this decision, especially immediately after our wonderful players secured historic promotion with the participation of the outstanding Bolesławiec public and the tremendous support of our existing sponsors.

Although there will be no Second League in Bolesławiec, we will continue to play for you in the Lower Silesian First Men’s League.

Our goal is to provide suitable, stable conditions so that we can continue creating volleyball in the city of ceramics for many years.
We believe that, thanks to the involvement of current and new sponsors and the favorable attitude of our city authorities, we will be able to look calmly to the future for the good of our Club.

Yours sincerely, The BTS Bolesławiec Board
