Throughout Bolesławiec County, only one pharmacy sells the “morning-after” pill. Across the entire Lower Silesian Voivodeship, there are 12 such pharmacies, including 6 in Wrocław.
How to use the program
If you visit a pharmacy and ask for emergency contraception:
- you will be seen in a separate room
- you will speak with a pharmacist, who will conduct an interview and determine whether dispensing the medicine is justified and safe, explain how to take it, and answer all your questions and concerns
- if, after the interview, the pharmacist considers dispensing the medicine justified and safe, you will receive a prescription issued by the pharmacist and be able to purchase the medicine.
