Dear Voters
In the local elections, I am seeking the opportunity to represent you in the Regional Assembly of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship. It is an honor for me, but also a great responsibility. I am convinced that my many years of work in Bolesławiec County’s local government—as a councillor, Deputy Starost and member of the County Board—have allowed me to become well acquainted with the way local government units operate, as well as with the problems we have had to solve. These were very demanding years, but also highly rewarding. Thanks to numerous investments, including those related to the modernization of the County Hospital, we succeeded in creating a thoroughly modern and excellently equipped facility.
As Deputy Starost, I was also involved in improving the condition of county roads. These costly but essential investments significantly improved the safety of drivers and pedestrians.
I am also pleased that I was entrusted with matters related to social assistance, because solving problems connected with the operation of, among others, the County Family Support Center and the County Disability Adjudication Team became one of my most important priorities. I consider the establishment of more than 100 foster families, caring for 144 children, a success.
These are, of course, only some of the achievements of which the councillors and the County Board are proud. There is still much to do in the next term, all so that residents can live better and more safely.
After years of working for the residents of Bolesławiec County, I would now like to look at many matters from a different, somewhat broader perspective. Hence my decision to run for our voivodeship’s regional assembly.
I am a very active person who can think both rationally and boldly. My experience, reliability and ability to manage large teams and work with them, acquired, among other things, during my 37-year professional military service—including as a regiment commander and head of the Military Recruitment Office—could be put to good use in the regional assembly.
I would be grateful for your support.
Stanisław Chwojnicki
