In connection with the incident, we present below the statement of the BKS Bolesławiec club, which was published on the club’s profile:
Bolesławiecki Klub Sportowy strongly condemns the behaviour of the people who attended the Lower Silesian IV League championship match between BKS Bolesławiec and Chrobry II Głogów, which took place on 9 March 2024 in Świętoszów.
Setting off a flare during this event is unacceptable and contrary to the PZPN Disciplinary Regulations and the fair-play values that we seek to promote at our Club.
We would also like to inform you that the Club received a financial penalty of PLN 2,000 from the Lower Silesian Football Association for the incident in question. We encourage everyone involved in this irresponsible behaviour to contact the Club directly in order to clarify the situation and take appropriate corrective measures. This is a step towards restoring peace and good relations within the football community.
Furthermore, we remind you that BKS Bolesławiec currently plays its home matches away in Świętoszów, and the property of Twardy Świętoszów club must be respected. In connection with the construction of the new stadium, we would like to emphasise that such behaviour will not be tolerated in the future.
Thank you all for your understanding and support for our efforts to build a positive atmosphere based on sporting fair play.
