A banner belonging to one of the local-election candidates was obscured by overgrown bushes. This did not escape the attention of the nighttime urban greenery management brigade. The guys arrived three abreast. One with a saw, two providing backup. All dressed in black. The one with the saw neatly trimmed the bushes to the width of the banner, ignoring a Bolesławiec resident urging him to cut everything down—the entire hedge—so that it would be even.
But apparently it was not supposed to be even—apparently. Especially since the worthy candidate was supposed to be visible.
