Let us recall that we reported on a similar situation in October 2022. Readers informed us at the time:
(...) we went to the pond with our daughter to feed the ducks. However, it was not only the ducks that were hungry; a rat also came out from behind the bushes to eat.
The issue of rats in Bolesławiec keeps coming back. In September 2021, a Reader wrote to us:
The issue of rats on Podgórna Street. Today I noticed considerable activity among these rodents. They are running along the street and on the pavements beneath the apartment blocks.
And added:
Is the city taking any preventive measures to limit their population? As is widely known, poison in basements works only once; rats learn quickly. If one dies, the others will not touch it.
