On Thursday after 4:00 p.m., emergency services received information about a building fire in Szczytnica.
Several fire service units were dispatched to the scene.
Upon arriving at the scene, the emergency services determined that, as a result of one of the building's residents' negligence, the stairwell had become filled with smoke.
No one was injured in the incident.
