On Saturday, before noon, a historic steam locomotive stopped at the PKP railway station in Bolesławiec. Railway enthusiasts from Germany were travelling on the train. The historic locomotive that appeared in Bolesławiec is impressive in appearance. The machine has been thoroughly refurbished. Its equipment does not differ significantly from that of newer designs.

The train, carrying several hundred people, set off from the German city of Cottbus in the morning. On its way to Wrocław, the train had to stop in Bolesławiec to replenish its water supply. Bolesławiec firefighters took care of the refuelling. The historic train is scheduled to return to Germany later today. On the way back, at around 8:00 p.m., the steam locomotive will stop in Bolesławiec again to replenish its water.
