Marcin Daniec performed a political-satirical show on the stage of the Forum cinema. The audience laughed, as the satirist put it, at very serious matters. Such as the scandal involving MP Renata Beger. – Do you know Renatka? – Daniec asked quite seriously. – That woman who directs pornographic films? The one who set up cameras under the bed and then lured some PiS supporter!
In one of his sketches, the satirist also described the faults of voters themselves. – We are such Franks who do not want politicians who say they will not give because they do not have anything. We prefer those who say they will give and that there will be something, even though there will not be.
Marcin Daniec also praised the motorway he used to travel from Kraków to Bolesławiec and lamented that there are so few motorways in Poland. – Motorways in Poland – he ironised – are something everyone has, but we still do not. In other European countries, teams of architects got together and laid out straightforward routes for express roads. Using a ruler, so that it would be as cheap and simple as possible. Berlin–Paris, Paris–Madrid, Madrid–Lisbon. But here they sit and draw all sorts of squiggles, because there are two historic anthills here, while over there a badger is adoring a female badger so that she does not miscarry…
All tickets for the show were sold out. The audience warmly welcomed the artist and his performance. Marcin Daniec shares his impressions of the evening with the people of Bolesławiec in an interview for our website and newspaper, in which he also offers a little electoral advice.
