At 12:00 p.m., as every year, an outdoor Mass was held with the participation of five bishops—from Poland, Czechia and Germany. The Mass was presided over by Bishop Andrzej Siemieniewski.
The Mass was also attended by Father Professor Zdzisław Lec, originally from Bolesławiec and currently residing in Wrocław, who is the pastoral supervisor of Lower Silesian guides. The guides’ patronage was represented by Jerzy Pokój, who is also a Sudeten Guide.
Bolesławiec was represented by guides Krzysztof Górecki and Stefan Olejnik, who, after the outdoor Mass, invited tourists to visit the city of Bolesławiec for the upcoming Ceramics Festival, which will take place from August 16 to August 20, 2023.
