Bait containing the vaccine will be dropped from aircraft outside built-up areas. People should not touch, pick up or destroy the laid-out bait.

From September 16 to 30, the following rules apply throughout the Lower Silesian Voivodeship:

  • a ban on hunting game with dogs
  • a ban on allowing dogs and cats to roam freely
  • an obligation to keep farm dogs tethered and cats indoors.

Every case of human contact with the laid-out vaccine must be reported to the health service, while any case of an animal coming into contact with the bait must be reported to the veterinary service. People are asked to exercise particular caution during the vaccination campaign.
