I have been a professional soldier for 15 years, and it is very difficult for me to ask for help, especially since I have always dealt with everything on my own and never asked anyone for support.
I do not even know how to begin... I want to live, I want to work, but I cannot afford the costs of my treatment. Malignant mucosal melanoma of the nasal cavity is one of the most aggressive cancers, with a worse prognosis than malignant skin melanoma. This cancer remains asymptomatic for a long time, and patients find it difficult to notice changes in the nasal cavity. That is why early diagnosis and the start of treatment are so important.
I am currently undergoing immunotherapy. In addition, I am scheduled to receive radiation treatment at the Lower Silesian Oncology Center in Wrocław. I know that a safer and more effective treatment option is available, in which proton beams target the tumor with greater power and precision. Unfortunately, such treatment is very limited in Poland—for me, this method is not reimbursed. That is why we are consulting clinics in Germany and waiting for assessment and a cost estimate, where proton therapy has already saved many patients! The costs of such treatment are enormous, amounting to hundreds of thousands of złoty; I am even afraid to think about what will happen next...
Unfortunately, my budget is already under enormous strain due to the costs of essential tests, medication and additional medical consultations. That is why I urgently need your help to overcome this disease!
