Before Sunday’s match, Twardy were second in the league table, two points behind GKS Cement Raciborowice, who had a bye in the final round. The last match for Sławomir Iskrzak’s players Sławomir Iskrzak was therefore decisive both for returning to the top of the table and for promotion to the regional league. Both objectives were achieved.
