Although the Bolesławiec Ceramic Festival has been running since Wednesday, the official opening of the Ceramic Fiesta took place on Friday, 20 August. At 5:00 p.m., a parade passed through the city streets, featuring, among others, members of the Bolesławiec Ceramic Brotherhood, local government officials, Zdobinki, Glinoludy and company representatives.
After the parade, the mayor of Bolesławiec handed the Ceramic Brotherhood a symbolic key to the city. There were also humorous touches. That evening, the Kraków-based Kabaret pod Wyrwigroszem entertained the audience, presenting its best-known sketches.
The third day of the Ceramic Festival concluded with a concert by Patrycja Markowska and a screening of “The Phantom of the Opera”. More attractions are coming today. The star of the fourth day of the Fiesta will be Shakin' Dudi.
