This is what the Pro Junior System standings look like near the end of the 2022/23 season. The clear leader of the standings in the Lower Silesian fourth tier is BKS Bolesławiec, which leads second-placed Górnik Wałbrzych by nearly 3,000 points and third-placed Jaworzanka 1946 Jawor by nearly 4,000. This is the result of the BKS management’s strategy, which, after withdrawing the team from the fourth tier in the 2015/2016 season, focused all its efforts and resources on training children and young people. It is now producing results in the form of first place in the Pro Junior System.

The most points for BKS were scored by Tomasz Hajduczek – 4,802. Piotr Skiba has 3,724 points. Jakub Czarnecki – 1,016 points, and Igor Sawicki – 666 points.

Main rules of the Pro Junior System

  1. A player must play at least 270 minutes and 5 matches for the minutes played to be included in the final score;
  2. Clubs relegated as a result of a decision by the Disciplinary Commission, for failing to meet licensing requirements, or clubs that withdraw from the competition lose their eligibility to participate in the program and are not included in the standings;
  3. Minutes played by a player in playoff matches are not included in the standings;
  4. The standings include minutes played by a player in official matches for the senior national team as part of:
    European Championship qualifiers and the European Championship,
    World Cup qualifiers and the World Cup;
  5. The standings include minutes played by a player in official U-21 national team matches as part of the U-21 European Championship qualifiers and the U-21 European Championship;
  6. The standings include minutes played by a player in official youth national team matches as part of:
    the U-17 and U-19 European Youth Championships,
    the U-17 and U-20 Youth World Championships.
  7. If teams from the same club participate in the Ekstraklasa, first, second, third or fourth tier, the club is included only in the final standings for the highest division in which a team from the club participated.
