There are already five Orlik complexes in Bolesławiec County, built by municipalities. Another complex of this type is to be completed by the end of October this year. The County Board secured the funds for its construction. The facility will operate at the II General Secondary School in Bolesławiec.

On Thursday, 12 August, County Governor Cezary Przybylski, Deputy County Governor Stanisław Chwojnicki and member of the Bolesławiec County Board Dariusz Kwaśniewski signed an agreement with the contractor for the investment—a company from Wrocław. The project is worth more than PLN 1.1 million.

Due to the restrictive rules in previous years, only a small number of counties could participate in the “My Playing Field – Orlik 2012” programme (the programme was primarily addressed to municipalities). In 2008, municipalities in Lower Silesia built 49 pitches, while counties built only two. Last year, 53 pitches were opened, including just one county-funded pitch. In 2010, 40 municipal complexes and 9 county complexes will be built in our voivodeship.
