Bowe Elektrik Polska Sp. z o.o. has been associated with Bolesławiec since 2000. That was when it began operating in the city of ceramics. Bowe Elektrik Polska meets the highest quality requirements and holds IATF 16949:2016, 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and UL certifications.
We speak with the Managing Director of Bowe Elektrik in Bolesławiec – Rafał Karwicki.
Editorial staff: Director, let us begin with a somewhat mysterious statement about what Bowe Elektrik does: “We create perfect connections.” Could you elaborate? What kind of connections are these? What exactly do you do?
Director Rafał Karwicki: Good morning. Bowe Elektrik Polska Sp. z o.o. has been involved in cable harness assembly for 22 years. The slogan you quoted refers to connecting wires. In accordance with the highest quality standards, we can produce durable and perfect cable harnesses used in various areas of industry. According to the customer's specifications and requirements
You fulfill orders from Poland and abroad. Which well-known brands have placed orders with you?
Wherever cable harnesses are needed, we are there too. Starting with the automotive industry, our customers include brands such as Audi, Volkswagen, Stihl, Toyota, Husqvarna and others. At the new plant we are currently building, we will implement projects for Bentley and Ferrari. Equipment that requires batteries for power is another area for our products. The battery and the device need to be connected for it to operate. We are involved in that as well.
We are practically wherever a “GOOD CONNECTION” needs to be created:
- Automotive industry,
- Automation technology,
- Railway technology,
- Information technology,
- Air transport,
- Machine building,
- Medical technology,
- Robotics technology,
- Environmental protection technologies,
- Military technology.
Bowe Elektrik has operated in Bolesławiec since 2000. We have been through the difficult period of the pandemic. There is currently a war in Ukraine. Some companies experienced problems and reduced employment. Others had to suspend or cease operations. Meanwhile, Bowe Elektrik decided to invest in Bolesławiec by building a new company headquarters.
Yes, last year, together with the company's management in Germany, we decided to build a new plant. We are responding to the need to expand production, increase our production capacity, modernize and increase employment. The customer's needs are our needs.
A new headquarters, a new hall and office space, additional jobs and new opportunities. Please say a few words about this investment. When is the investment scheduled for completion, and when will operations begin at the new location? How much will employment increase?
The new property will have an area of approximately 3,000 m² and is less than 300 m from the previous address. The new building includes both production and office space. Therefore, in September 2023, we want it to completely replace the current location. The layout of the warehouse and production areas is perfectly adapted to the needs of cable harness assembly, while also offering a high degree of flexibility for future requirements. Modern, durable jobs are being created. Production capacity will increase significantly. The plan is to double employment from the current 120 people.
The company recently joined the sponsors of BKS Bolesławiec. In the match against Apis Jędrzychowice, the footballers played for the first time in new kits bearing the Bowe Elektrik logo and won the match 3–0. This bodes well for the future of both the club and the company...
Let us hope that we bring the team good luck. They face the difficult task of remaining in the fourth tier. As I understand it, next year the fourth tier in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship will be merged from two groups into one, so BKS can always count on us and we will support them. Sport in such a beautiful city as Bolesławiec is important, and we want to be part of it.
Thank you for the interview.
Thank you.
