The organizers of the gathering and the culinary competition were Municipal Public Kindergarten No. 5 in Bolesławiec and the Daily Senior+ Home.
The event took the form of a competition between all public municipal kindergartens and representatives of the senior community, who formed mixed teams. It was a meeting full of excitement, fun and competition.
All the teams were winners. The organizers provided prizes for every participant, while the event as a whole served to strengthen intergenerational friendship, develop healthy eating habits, create opportunities to gain culinary experience, and show that food can be both tasty and healthy.
All the participants enjoyed preparing meals together. For the occasion, Municipal Public Kindergarten No. 5 prepared an information leaflet serving as a short guide titled “I Eat Healthily, I Know More.”
