QAD is introducing a new visual identity to emphasize its vision of creating adaptive manufacturing enterprises and the idea of growth based on the digitization of business processes. The new brand visualization brings together QAD’s growing range of products and highlights their position in the market for cloud solutions (Software as a Service – SaaS).
A brand is more than just a logo. It is a distinctive mark that shows a company’s energy and vision. Much has changed since QAD’s last brand redesign in 1995. The new visual identity combines the company’s new vision of creating adaptive enterprises with the recent acquisitions of several IT companies and the development of SaaS solutions supporting manufacturers and supply chains.
“We are delighted to present QAD’s new brand image as we make unprecedented investments in technology, acquire best-in-class solutions and build the most talented team in the industry,” said QAD Chief Executive Officer Anton Chilton. “While we are changing our appearance, our mission and values will never change.”

An adaptive enterprise achieves success by aligning people’s activities, the right processes and supporting systems throughout the entire supply chain, from raw materials to finished products. QAD’s new brand is also a clear confirmation of the recent significant acquisitions of Redzone and Livejourney, as well as the progress made in supporting people and processes through QAD Redzone Connected Workforce – the No. 1 employee collaboration platform – and QAD Process Intelligence – the use of artificial intelligence to optimize process execution.
“We are building the best version of QAD by combining our past successes with new opportunities,” said Carter Lloyds, QAD Chief Marketing Officer. “The refreshed brand is driven by our passion for helping customers overcome the manufacturing and supply chain challenges of tomorrow. It is time for us to introduce ourselves again.”
QAD’s new identity represents two key areas of activity – manufacturing and supply chains – which come together in perfect harmony in a state of balance and symmetry. The new color palette is inspired by three raw materials used in manufacturing: cobalt oxide, which is used to create blue enamels and color ceramic glazes and glass; cinnabar, a bright red ore used in industrial pigments and dyes, from which mercury can also be extracted; and cadmium, obtained from zinc ore, a metal used to produce batteries, which occurs as an orange mineral in compounds with sulfur.

“Manufacturing and supply chains are areas in which we help our Customers build a competitive advantage. The change in QAD’s image is an excellent confirmation and complement to QAD’s substantively strong offering for manufacturers,” stated Piotr Rojek, President of DSR S.A., QAD’s exclusive representative in Poland.
