Just after voting ended, the Onet.pl portal published an exit poll for the second round of the election. According to the polls conducted at 8:00 p.m., Bronisław Komorowski was the winner of the second round. According to data from SMG/KRC for TVN, 51.8% of voters voted for the Civic Platform candidate, while Jarosława Kaczyńskigo of Law and Justice received 48.2%. The National Electoral Commission published voting results from 20.94% of polling stations. According to the commission’s data, Bronisław Komorowski received 50.61% of the votes, while Jarosław Kaczyński received 49.39% of the votes.

The National Electoral Commission announced the official election results. Bronisław Komorowski received 53.01% of the votes. Jarosław Kaczyński received 46.99% of the votes. Turnout was 55.31%.
Election Results in Bolesławiec and Bolesławiec County
In Bolesławiec, Bronisław Komorowski received 64.95% of the votes, while Jarosław Kaczyński received 35.05%. Turnout in the city was 53.44%. County residents gave Bronisław Komorowski 60.74% of their votes. Jarosław Kaczyński received 39.26% of the votes. Turnout in the county was 49.10%.
The closest results for the two candidates were recorded in Gmina Gromadka. There, Bronisław Komorowski received 50.70% of the votes, while Jarosław Kaczyński received 49.30%. In Gmina Nowogrodziec, Komorowski received 54.50% and Kaczyński 45.50%. In Gmina Warta Bolesławiecka, 56.21% supported the Civic Platform candidate and 43.79% supported the Law and Justice candidate. In Gmina Osiecznica, 63.96% voted for Komorowski and 36.06% for Kaczyński. Meanwhile, in Gmina Wiejska Bolesławiec, the Civic Platform candidate received 57.51% of the votes and the Law and Justice candidate 42.49%.
