BKS Bobrzanie have a coach. On Wednesday (June 30), the Board of Bolesławiecki Klub Sportowy Bobrzanie decided to once again entrust the coaching position to Marcin Ciliński.Coach Ciliński will replace Leszek Dulat in the position. Marcin Ciliński will begin working at BKS Bobrzanie on July 12. On the same day, the coach will meet with the team and the new players.
Marcin Ciliński is a 42-year-old coach and former footballer. He played for, among others, Zagłębie Lubin, Miedź Legnica, Olimpia Poznań and Górnik Polkowice. In Bolesławiec, Marcin Ciliński worked for four seasons, serving as a player-coach for three of them. It was with him that the BKS team secured promotion to the fourth league in the 2003/2004 season. Two years ago, Marcin Ciliński parted ways with our team. After leaving BKS, he coached Prochowiczanka Prochowice. He also sought a job at Miedź Legnica, but ultimately became the coach of Polonia/Sparta Świdnica. He was dismissed from the third-league Świdnica side after several defeats.
Will BKS Bobrzanie, under the leadership of the “new-familiar” coach, perform better than in the previous season? Was the club board’s decision the right one? We will find out all this in the autumn round of the competition.
