During a session of the Bolesławiec City Council, Piotr Roman mentioned that he had recently celebrated twenty years as mayor and, consequently—along with other local government officials with the same length of service—had been invited by Lower Silesian Voivode Jarosław Obremski to a meeting.

Interestingly, as many as three mayors in Lower Silesia celebrated their twentieth anniversary this year. Apart from P. Roman, they are Tadeusz Krzakowski (Legnica) and Robert Raczyński (Lubin).

– A very pleasant meeting – summed up the head of the Bolesławiec municipal office.
