The incident took place on November 20. This is how the firefighters from OSP Osiecznica describe the operation:
(...) at around 1:00 p.m., we were dispatched to a fire in a residential building in our town. At the scene, it turned out that the roof covering was on fire. The operation involved directing a stream of water inside the building and creating access to the burning roof elements. At the same time, another stream of water was directed at the roof from the outside by subsequent units using an aerial ladder. This fire is another example in our town of how important it is for units to respond quickly so that the fire does not spread further. During the operation, we cooperated with:
