The Municipality of Bolesławiec submitted a request to Polska Grupa Górnicza (PGG) to purchase solid fuel (coal) for households located within the city. The Municipality of Bolesławiec requested two types of hard coal: “nut” and “pea” coal.
In our area, PGG has signed an agreement with a Qualified Coal Supplier—the company “SOMBIN” from Jelenia Góra, which also operates a fuel depot in Bolesławiec at 1 Kościuszki Street.
In connection with the above, the Municipality of Bolesławiec reached an agreement with the Qualified Coal Supplier “SOMBIN”, which will be responsible for distributing coal at a preferential price in Bolesławiec. (ZEC Sp. z o.o. at Gałczyńskiego Street will not distribute the coal because it does not have an agreement with PGG.)
We would like to remind you that coal at a preferential price may be purchased from the local government by people entitled to the coal allowance. To do so, an application for the preferential purchase of coal must be submitted:
- at the Bolesławiec City Hall—the Customer Service Office in the Town Hall (41 Rynek),
- or sent electronically to wegiel@um.boleslawiec.pl (the application attachment must be signed using an electronic signature, a personal signature—i.e. with an identity card equipped with an electronic layer—or a trusted profile),
- or sent to: Bolesławiec City Hall, 41 Rynek, 59-700 Bolesławiec.
Applications cannot be submitted by telephone.
Applications have been accepted since 7 November 2022. Pursuant to the regulation, the amount of coal available to one household under the preferential purchase scheme is 1,500 kg until 31 December this year and a further 1,500 kg from 1 January 2023. An individual in a household who meets the conditions for receiving the coal allowance is entitled to make a preferential purchase.
We will provide information in subsequent announcements about the delivery date of the first batch of coal at a preferential price to Bolesławiec.
