100 matches in BKS colours. An award for Mateusz Olesiński
As for Saturday’s match against Odra Ścinawa, the Bolesławiec players attacked from the very beginning. During the opening 15 minutes, BKS pinned Odra back in its own half and created as many as five scoring chances. Unfortunately, the hosts were unable to convert any of them. At that point, probably none of the Bolesławiec supporters even suspected how things would unfold later in the match.
Unfortunately, the footballing saying about missed chances proved true once again. The missed opportunities came back to haunt BKS when the visitors converted their first good chance into a 1–0 goal. Wojciech Konefał got his name on the scoresheet. Conceding the goal took the wind out of the Bolesławiec players’ sails. Their pressure on the goal weakened. In addition, just before half-time, Mateusz Kochman gave Odra a two-goal lead.
After the break, the Bolesławiec players tried to score a goal to get back into the match, but the visitors, through Kornel Ciupka, extended their lead to 3–0. Later, Kamil Skiba gave the local players and supporters some hope, making it 3–1. Unfortunately, before the end of the match, Kacper Osiadły set the final score at 4–1 to Odra.
The four-match winning streak was ended. Odra Ścinawa defeated BKS 4–1 (2–0) at Spółdzielcza.
And already on Sunday, 6 November, at 11:00 a.m., BKS’s second team will host Sparta Zebrzydowa at the stadium on Spółdzielcza Street in Bolesławiec.
