The incident occurred on national road no. 94, near Wilczy Las. At the turn-off toward Iwiny, three cars collided: a Citroen Berlingo, Ford Escort and Opel Vivaro. Three people suffered minor injuries. One of them was trapped in a car. Firefighters had to cut through the vehicle’s bodywork to free the person. The injured people were taken to hospital. Police are determining the circumstances of the incident.

According to the police’s preliminary findings, the driver of the Opel Vivaro, who was driving at excessive speed, caused the accident. The Opel driver crashed into the rear of the Ford Escort as it was turning left. As a result of the impact, the Ford ended up in the opposite lane, where the Citroen then collided with it.
