Trousers – multifunctional workwear

Trousers made of durable material cover employees’ legs, protecting them from injuries (e.g. abrasions). This is particularly important on construction sites, where workers come into contact with heavy objects and machinery. In addition, work trousers are equipped with pockets that make it easier to store personal items needed on the construction site, such as tape measures, flashlights and other tools. They also have loops for attaching additional external pockets, increasing storage capacity. Trousers with knee pockets are an excellent option – knee pads are inserted into them to protect the joints from injury when an employee works in a kneeling position for many hours.

Workwear for special tasks – trousers that can withstand a lot

They are made of strong fabrics – primarily 100% cotton, as well as cotton-polyester blends. Thanks to the properties of the fibres, they are resistant to mechanical damage (tears and snags) and do not become misshapen. They also ensure air circulation, which protects employees from overheating and guarantees comfortable working conditions. Manufacturers often use sanforisation to prevent the material from shrinking under the influence of heat and moisture, which are difficult to avoid when working in harsh conditions and washing clothes frequently. Trousers intended for work in difficult conditions must also have reinforced seams to prevent them from stretching.

Classic construction work trousers or bib overalls – which are better?

It depends on personal preference, although construction workers more often wear bib overalls with adjustable straps. Thanks to them, the overalls fit perfectly and do not slip down. They are often considered more comfortable than classic trousers with a belt. At the same time, they are lighter than coveralls and easy to take off. They work well both in summer and winter. They are especially useful when the work requires frequent changes of position – from kneeling, through frequent bending, to reaching upwards. Regardless of what you are doing, trousers with straps always stay in place.

High-visibility BHP work trousers

It is not only typical protective clothing (e.g. helmets) that ensures safety on a construction site. Warning clothing, such as vests and jackets with reflective strips, is also important. Trousers often have reflective elements as well, thanks to which employees are clearly visible. This helps prevent accidents on the site, especially when working with heavy equipment.

Workwear and protective clothing in a BHP store

Trousers are only one part of complete workwear BHP clothing. In addition, provide your employees with jackets, high-visibility vests, gloves, sweatshirts and work boots. Sets of clothing (including waterproof garments) that comply with the requirements of labour law can be found in the online store Firmowych Ciuchów. The wide selection will allow you to adapt the BHP clothing on offer to your company’s needs. See what they offer in their range – also pay attention to women’s clothing, especially if you employ women as well (e.g. in a supervisory position, which also requires them to be present on the construction site in suitable clothing).
