The man sent insulting anonymous texts by email to the city president. He used the pseudonym "Adler." During the investigation, the police tracked down the computer from which the emails had been sent. It belonged to Krzysztof K., a former journalist.
The court convicted Adler of insulting a public official in connection with the performance of his official duties. The sentence is a PLN 500 fine, forfeiture of the computer hard drive and payment of court costs. The judgment is not final.
