“Clean Up the World – Poland” is part of the international environmental protection movement Clean up the World, which originated in Australia and was launched in 1989 by Ian Kiernan, an Australian businessman and sailor. Nearly 40 million volunteers from more than forty countries around the world participate in the movement. In Poland, the campaign was initiated in 1994 by Mira Stanisławska-Meysztowicz, founder of the Nasza Ziemia Foundation.

She adds:

“Clean Up the World – Poland” is a shared lesson in respecting the environment. Its aim is to promote not littering, provide waste education and initiate actions that will reduce our negative impact on the environment.

Katarzyna Furman: – From an early age, students learn environmentally friendly attitudes and always remember to take care of their planet.

And she adds: – Another initiative organized for our planet will take place on April 22, 2023, during the observance of World Earth Day.
