Several fire service units and police are searching along the Bóbr River and in its current for a man. The incident occurred on Saturday, September 10, at approximately 6:00 p.m., near the bridge on Mostowa Street in Bolesławiec.
The services received a report about a man who had reportedly entered the water and disappeared. Firefighters with boats were dispatched for the search.
Update: 2022-09-10, 7:10 p.m.
The man has been found. He turned out to be a Ukrainian citizen. He was handed over to the police. The man was soaked, but was not injured.
The police are determining the details of the incident.
