The Provincial Hospital for the Nervously and Mentally Ill in Bolesławiec and the City of Bolesławiec invite you to the World Suicide Prevention Day celebrations “Let’s Talk About Life”, which will take place from 9 to 16 September.

Celebration programme

9 September

  • 11:30, Forum cinema, BOK – MCC – “Suicide Room”, Jan Komasa’s film preceded by an open dialogue between young people and professionals, represented by:
    • Kamila Weigt (Mental Health Centre for Children and Adolescents),
    • Krystian Antoniewicz (Mental Health Centre for Adults),
    • Krzysztof Witkowski, educator and court mediator.
      (Closed event for primary school pupils).

10 September

  • 17:15 – Azart Sat presents “Don’t run away from life, you have a way out”.

11 September

  • 12:00–18:00, Bonina Park – “Face to Face – Conversations About Life”, consultations with a doctor, psychiatrist, psychologist, psychotherapist and addiction psychotherapy specialist.

16 September

  • 14:00–20:00 Bolesławiec market square – “Let’s Have Fun, Because Life Is Beautiful”:
    • Corridor for Life – a happening,
    • Let’s Talk About Life – a dialogue with the staff of the Mental Health Centre,
    • Circle for Life – circle dancing to African rhythms and Tibetan gongs,
    • They Will Never Make a Choice Again – a concert by Adam Sypuła and his band.
