At the first friendly match before the IV-league competition, BKS defeated Promień Żary 2–1 (1–0).
Both goals for our team were scored by BKS academy graduate – Kacper Deka. Interestingly, the Bolesławiec team took the lead as early as the first minute of the match. Kacper converted Marek Majka’s assist and lobbed the advancing visiting goalkeeper.
Two more goals were scored in the second half. One for BKS and one for Promień Żary. After Kacper scored his second goal for BKS, the visitors successfully converted a penalty. BKS goalkeeper – Tomasz Hajduczek – played a very good match. The home goalkeeper repeatedly saved his team from conceding.
