On Saturday, 16 July, at around 9:00 p.m., firefighters were dispatched to a car fire near the village of Chościszowice (the Bolesławiec–Gromadka route).
At the scene, it turned out that an Audi was on fire. The car had been left in a roadside ditch near a railway crossing for around two weeks.
In addition to the car, grass was burning, and there was a risk that the grain in a nearby field would catch fire. Fortunately, the firefighters prevented this.
No one was injured in the incident. One PSP Bolesławiec unit was operating at the scene. A police patrol was also present.
