The incident occurred at night on June 18, near the village of Pasternik. Forest undergrowth was burning on the border of Bolesławiec County.
OSP Wierzbowa, Gromadka, Różyniec, Nowa Kuźnia and JRG Bolesławiec fought the fire. The operation lasted 1.5 hours.
Earlier, on the night of June 16–17, firefighters, including those from OSP Wierzbowa, extinguished burning tires in Pasternik.
