On Sunday, 2 May, an event opening the water season on the Kwisa River took place. Although the route was short, it was full of adventures. The Bolesławiec County executive, Cezary Przybylski, who had assumed patronage of the rafting trip, completed a full launch into the water. Other participants also experienced adventures – they could hear about them at a feast organised at the finish in Przejęsław.

The Kwisa is not particularly difficult to navigate; the water trail is highly scenic and diverse. True relaxation can be experienced along the route from Kliczków through the Lower Silesian Forests, the route covered by more than 60 people as part of the inauguration.

The river current is swift, the water is clear and teeming with fish. Beavers live here, and you may also encounter otters frolicking merrily.

Most of the river is unregulated, so fallen tree trunks and high riverbank escarpments can often be encountered along the rafting route. The banks are covered with trees. The eye is drawn mainly to the oaks of impressive size.

The pristine appearance of the Kwisa River Valley provides unique experiences and makes people want to return here, as all the event participants confirmed with a united cheer.
