Bolesławiec Society of Friends of Children:

From May 28 to June 4 this year, a group of our beneficiaries from the Assistance Circle for Children, Young People and People with Disabilities at the Society of Friends of Children took part in a rehabilitation, recreational and tourist trip along the trail of Saint John Paul II.

The participants stayed and were provided with meals at the “U Chramca” Hotel in Białka Tatrzańska, which is adapted for people with disabilities. Every day, they explored the attractions of Podhale, including the church in Dębno, Jaszczurówka, the Nature Education Centre, Wielka Krokiew – the Marusarz Museum, the sanctuary in Krzeptówki, Bachledówka, the sanctuary in Ludźmierz and the castle in Niedzica.

They relaxed at the Bania Thermal Baths, took a boat trip on Lake Czorsztyn and rafted down the Dunajec. Organizers:

Because of their mobility difficulties, our beneficiaries were transported by coach to every destination. Transport costs were partially subsidized by the Bolesławiec City Office.

And they add:

Our beneficiaries were able to take part in this wonderful trip only thanks to a donation from the KGHM Polska Miedź Foundation, for which we extend our heartfelt thanks.
