At the funeral of the late Mariola Bakalarz, representatives of the municipal and county authorities were present, including county head Tomasz Gabrysiak, mayor Piotr Roman, head of the social affairs department Beata Sulska, as well as representatives of the city and county councils, together with teachers and kindergarten directors from Bolesławiec.
Mariola Bakalarz’s final words of farewell moved everyone to tears.
– Director, Mariola, this is not how our farewell was supposed to look, this is not what we had agreed – said Ewa Pietrzak, a teacher at MPP No. 1, in her farewell speech. – You left too quickly, too soon. We miss your radiant smile, with which you welcomed us, the parents, and above all your beloved preschoolers. You did everything to make them feel good at kindergarten, and for us to feel good at work. And that is how it was. Every day we came to work with joy, willingness and enthusiasm, because you often told us: we can do it. Although sometimes you, too, lacked the strength. Yet you were an optimist. Until the end, you believed that everything would be all right. And it is all right. Because you are already in another, better world. Without pain, suffering or illness. We extend our deepest sympathy to the entire family: Mariola’s mother, her sister Wioletta, and especially to you, Kamila, Mariola’s beloved daughter. You lost both parents too soon. The entire community of our kindergarten, where your mother was a teacher and director for 37 years, wishes you all the best. Be strong, be brave, hold on, because life goes on and is a gift. Your mother was a wonderful woman, teacher and director. She often said that one is a director only for a time, but a human being throughout one’s entire life. That is exactly who she was. A human being with a capital H. We stand with the whole family in mourning. You will always remain in our hearts and minds, Mariola. Director, Mariola, rest in peace; we will miss you. Until we meet again – Ewa Pietrzak concluded her farewell speech.
Mariola Bakalarz died after a long illness. She would have turned 61 in August this year.
The istotne.pl editorial team extends its sincerest condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased.
