The incident occurred on Thursday, 19 May, on Chrobrego Street in Bolesławiec. According to preliminary information, at around 11:00 a car hit a pedestrian.

Officers determined that the 70-year-old driver of a Volkswagen, a resident of Bolesławiec, failed to yield at the pedestrian crossing to a 23-year-old man from Bolesławiec. The latter was taken to hospital with a leg injury.
The VW driver was sober. The case will probably end up in court.
