The competition was preceded by forest education workshops prepared in cooperation with Nadleśnictwo Bolesławiec. This year, 17 second-grade classes travelled to the forest nursery in Osieczów. A total of 300 pupils took part in the activities.

Seventeen two-person teams entered the competition. Their task was to answer 23 competition questions. All participants demonstrated an impressive level of knowledge about the forest, and the number of points earned by the highest-scoring group differed only slightly.

This year’s winners were Magdalena Bakalarz and Szymon Jawny from class IIA at Primary School No. 4. Second place went to Justyna Filipczak and Anastazja Drągiewicz from class IIB at Primary School No. 1. Third place was awarded to Alexandra Łabudzki and Maciejowi Potockiemu from class IIA at the Piarist Order Primary School. Organizers:

The workshops and competition were held as part of the project “Nature Heals, Feeds and Educates.
