What is platelet-rich plasma, known as the vampire facelift?
Platelet-rich plasma mesotherapy is a treatment involving the administration of a fully natural and biocompatible preparation: plasma derived from the patient’s blood. Plasma is one of the most popular and well-liked therapies in aesthetic medicine, while the treatment itself is commonly called a “vampire facelift”. PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) is a preparation containing a concentrate of platelets rich in growth factors, which is then applied to the skin using a microneedle. After the subcutaneous administration of plasma, the platelets are activated and release the growth factors they contain, which are important for skin regeneration. These factors accelerate cell multiplication, increase the number of blood vessels and nourish cells, activate stem cells, and stimulate fibroblasts to produce collagen and elastin. How to prepare for the treatment?

You should also make sure not to take medication that increases blood clotting, such as aspirin, for three days before the planned treatment. Blood-clotting disorders are a contraindication to this treatment.
