Michał Żak, a student of the I Private Lower Secondary School in Bolesławiec, received recognition in the “Two Silver Screens – Online Conversations about Film” competition, organised by the Network of Arthouse and Local Cinemas in cooperation with the Central Film Education Office, the Julian Tuwim Youth Palace in Łódź and the “Venae Artis” Association for Cultural Education. Michał’s prize will be participation in one of the summer film festivals under the patronage of the SKSiL.
Competition participants had to consider the question: in the age of the internet, digital television and computer games, do we need cinema less and less?
