Today, it is the best-known environmental holiday. The theme of Earth Day 2022 is Investing in Our Planet, because a green future is a prosperous future.
Bolesławiec schools and preschools actively participate in Earth Day celebrations every year. One element of these activities is the organization of clean-up campaigns in selected areas of our city.
The Municipal Centre for Environmental Education encourages institutions to organize activities by providing them with the bags and gloves necessary to prepare the campaigns. This year, six primary schools and seven preschools responded to the MCEE’s appeal.
World Earth Day is an opportunity to pause for a moment and reflect on the great value of our planet and how much our prosperity depends on its condition.
